E. 2026 Officer Election Nominations were had, and the Nominees accepted or denied their nomination(s) prior to tonight’s meeting. Those who ‘accepted’ their nomination(s) will be added to a GoogleForm ‘election’ Voting page where ‘paid 2025 Members’ can place their votes ‘electronically’ OR choose to place their votes in-person at the December meeting. (Officers $25/year)
● Raffle items had: Leather purse, Rasta backpack, Wooden Plaque: ‘One Show at a Time’ (We will most likely use the ‘leather purse’ and the ‘backpack’ as our Holidaze party ‘raffle’ since they would make great Holiday gifts for someone to enjoy!)

TRIBAL SEEDS & THE MOVEMENT(Sept. 11th)
*(Angela) Update with the mentioned Ad-Partnering with other venues—email was sent to Virgin Hotel. No response yet. Angela to send follow-up email to Virgin and connect with Mandalay Bay this week.
Mandalay Bay possibilities: The Australian Pink Floyd (Aug. 20), America (Sept. 26), OR group pricing deal/ticket donations for the Mandalay Bay’s Bob Marley--HOPE ROAD show
B. Shakedown Vegas: We still have the box of unsold License Plates from Robert. (*Scott T., from Catfish John, asked if we would be interested in having a table at the COPA ROOM, for their 9/6 event. There are many other local music events & the Blues Bender that night, which may conflict with attendance or table volunteers. Yes, at least 2 officers are available (Paige/Angela).
C. Quarterly event with the SandDollar LV: The confirmed Q3 event is ‘ALL YOU CAN EAT ORCHESTRA’, Saturday, Sept. 20th. No ARTWORK yet. (Raffle/Merch Table volunteer list will go out at August’s end.)
Instead of traditional Tee Box signage, they utilize the golf cart's advanced GPS System to promote sponsors' logos. Benefits of this new system include better logo placement and environmentally friendly logo promotion.
The previously mentioned LVJBS Postcard with our QR code on the back is NOT able to be the ‘marketing item/swag item’. New items to consider – magnet, poker chip, lip balm, sunscreens, cozies, pens, pic-necklaces with our logo (Needed by Sept. 1st) Plan is to determine cost of magnets (through King Printing) and pens (hoping to keep @ $120 or less).
*KingPrinting is working on those postcards, so we will just use them as needed. (Ordered 500 so we have them. Might be ‘donated our way’, yet unknown.)
E. Gave G-Love our LVJBS card when I met him during his last show (w/ Dispatch) @ The Chelsea Theater. He mentioned to ‘contact his people’ and He would donate something (signed) to sell or raffle. (More info TBD)
