*JGB, on 2/16, the KUNG FU, for 1/27 and the John K. event for late January have all fallen-through for this time around. We are looking at a late January event, January 27th, at The HideAway. We are thinking ICICYLE TRICYCLE. The band will get paid via The HideAway. More details TBD.
*Email sent from Gary Westwell, from the Orange County Jam Band Society (OCJBS), in California. They are having an awesome 3 day, Grateful Campout, with 15 bands for $99 festival in May—headliners: GrooveSession, Cubensis, & others. May 4th-6th. We will share their event to our page. Any local musicians/bands with interest can contact them on their Facebook page, mentioning the LVJBS. www.oc-musicfest.com for more info
*Dan mentioned getting an email stating that the Internet domain, LVJBS.com (which we recently rid, due to our LVJBS.org working for us just fine) has been ‘offered’ for sale, back to the LVJBS by someone wanting to make a ‘sale’. Dan ‘ignored’ the email.
*The Bender Jamboree, April 12-14th, at the Plaza Hotel, has now offered ‘music only’ rates for the 3 days of music for NV residents. They listened to our locals’ requests of ‘not’ needing hotel accommodations. Now, the hopes for ‘single day’, local prices. More info TBA.
