Item1: President’s Report (Jessica G.):
“Happy April Fool’s Day to all of our Jambander Fools!”
A. Ad-Partnerships updates:
*BBLV: Ad-Partnerships updates:
Lottery ticket winners have 48 hours to make changes after receiving the ““Congrats, you have won a BBLV Lottery Comp-ticket,” email to an upcoming show. The BBLV is emailed the Guest List 2-days after the ‘winners’ email’ is sent & changes cannot be made. The BBLV relies on our attendance to help them with inside sales. We do not want to jeopardize our partnership with them.
The forms for the April events went out to the updated Members’ list on Tuesday, 4/1: BERTHA and JRAD
Inquired about the upcoming: PINK TALKING FISH ARE DEAD (May 9th) GOOSE (June 3rd) & START MAKING SENSE (Talking Heads Tribute) (July 20th) partnerships. No reply as of yet.
B. Shakedown Vegas updates:
● A huge ‘Thank you’ to Paige for leading the Shakedown Vegas booth for us all & to the Volunteers who helped out for the two March weekends. The GoogleForm for the two April weekends went out on Monday, 3/31. It was suggested that the time slots be changed to 3-hour shifts (10 AM- 1 PM, 1 PM- 4 PM, and 4 PM-close (6-7 PM).
● It is really important that those who ‘sign-up’ stick with their commitments OR find someone to cover. Calling/texting the day of is not helpful for those on the previous shift.
● David Gans was truly grateful for our help for his book signing! Thanks, Everyone!
C. Thanks to everyone who helped make the 3.14 HomeCookin’ event a success. The pies were happily enjoyed, and the band really enjoyed their evening!
D. Next ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY clean-up: Sunday, April 6th @ 9 AM.
Item 2: Vice President’s Report(Jessica P.):
- Excited to volunteer at the Shakedown Vegas booth later this month.
- Brief ongoing discussion regarding community feedback that shows start earlier than 10pm.
Item 3: TREASURER’S REPORT (Paige):
● Submitted annual list required for non-profit’s state filings (names) to the state of Nevada ($50 fee).
● 2025 DUES/Member updates
Now, $10/mo. (Anyone who attends any of the 4 in-person meetings in 2025, can have a $5 (up to $20) discount off of next year’s dues.)
● PEF Scholarship update: The Reviews are being done by 4 Board Members (due by April 3rd). Access through LVJBS email.
● LiquidBlue T-shirt order - we now have a wholesale account. Paige to check if there is a minimum order requirement. Looking into ordering a variety of options, other than ‘Grateful Dead’ theme. There are some ‘David Bowie”, “Talking Heads”, etc. that would have an attraction. Also, noticed that shoppers were looking for larger, ‘plus sizes’ (big/tall) when looking through shirts.
● Shakedown Vegas Booth - It is important that volunteers review the price list and necessary details prior to starting the shift, getting to the shifts 15 minutes early to learn the routines. Last weekend, one frame was accidentally sold, and a second frame broke in the strong winds. We have replaced both, costing the LVJBS money to do so. (Kathy to get the donated shirts (the Lobster/NE ones) sold while she is in the NE part of the country.)

● Jessica G. sent the agenda to help with minutes.
Item 5: MAYOR’S REPORT (Haley S.):

● Excited about possible future collaboration with ALL YOU CAN EAT ORCHESTRA. Will provide Greg with contact information.
Item 6: PRODUCTION REPORT(Greg):
● ‘Celebration of Life’ for Shannon will be on Saturday, April 5th (2 PM- 6 PM) at Garage Mahall. Potluck-style/ BYOB. Richard is taking care of the sound, and Eric F. is taking care of the band.
o Liani to send email blast reminder (this Wednesday/Friday) of BYOB and a dish to share. Jessica to share the Facebook info.
o Agenda is 2-4 PM open, 4:30-5 PM speaking/sharing, 5-6 PM music
o Angela & Haley will arrive around 12:30 PM to help with setup
o Greg to bring utensils & napkins, Angela to bring tapestries, Everyone to bring flowers. Jessica to try to get posters printed.
● SHAKY FEELIN’ was confirmed for Friday, May 23rd –the LVJBS Quarter 2 SDLV Collaboration (Shaky Feelin’ added us as co-promotor for this event.)
● SPUNJ was booked by Nathan Grates (SandDollar LV) on Saturday, May 24th
● Update on the mentioned 3Q (July/August) SandDollar LV/ LVJBS presents event: “All You Can Eat Orchestra” (and/or 4Q Mega-Scopes booking for early/late November to not conflict with the possible Tecopa Takeover event.)
Item 7: OPEN FLOOR (all):
* Liani: Zeffy/Website- Liani unable to make it to the meeting today. Will group text later for an update. (Our WildApricot is at max-data, so it’s needed to be done ASAP.)
* Jessica- Pete Sittler sent a message about him downsizing his home & inquired about instrument donations to LVJBS.
* Paige - We received 3 donations (a backpack from Jim C., a wooden bear from Om Grown Art, & a leather purse from our Shakedown neighbor Arlene’s ‘Vozee Leather & Dye’.) These will make great, future raffle items.
* Kathy - leaving Las Vegas in May, but will continue to store the archive at her home.
