Item1: PRESIDENT’S REPORT (Jessica G.):
“Happy New Year, Everyone!”
A. Ad-Partnerships updates:
*BBLV: Emailed the marketing team regarding teaming up for Gary Clark Jr.: February 20th & BADFISH: March 7th events.
B. A 2025 Officers (only) FACEBOOK page was created (the 2024 one edited).
C. Robert Shatzner (Shakedown Vegas) still wants to get together with us for the LVJBS’ 25th Anniversary Event at Tuscany’s Copa Room at some point this year. Jessica & Paige had last-minute meet-up with him yesterday. They reviewed 2025 Shakedown Vegas plans and brainstormed some ways the LVJBS can get our mission out
D. Received emails from “Hannah” regarding NEON CRM programming. She has been contacting our former 2023 President, Johnnie Tolson (on our LVJBS Gmail account), after her colleague, Luke, mentioned the LVJBS’ past interest. She wanted to seek our interest. Jessica replied, we would discuss tonight. We’ve decided to work with another company. Jessica will let her know.
E. ZEFFY update – Liani, Haley, Angela will collaborate on set up. Plan is to meet within the next week. Also discussed possibility of building a new LVJBS website.

*Thoughts to discuss some helpful Officer duties for 2025:
Vice President: Keeping a document on a database (Google Sheets?) with any LVJBS events for the year. This way, at year’s end, we can easily count the number of events, go back to verify any dates, etc. (WEBSITE editing is needed—There are old ads, misprints/misspelled words, etc. Fonts are hard to read and it is outdated.)
Mayor: Save some of the posted photos from the year’s events (or take some of your own!) to help with the mentioned 2026 Calendar’s pages. (Citone/Kabik have permitted us in the past to utilize theirs if any are taken at our event/posted to Social Media).
VP or Mayor: Helping (before each meeting) to get the monthly LVJBS events/non-LVJBS music events listed and shared with Angela for the meeting notes. This helps with knowing what is upcoming to avoid double booking & helps to be a database for those who read the minutes to know what music might be of interest. (Maybe we can start a Google Sheet where we can add whatever is heard of/announced so any one of us can add to it. This would help with adding reminders to Social Media and an easy way to copy/paste to the meetings’ minutes.)
Item 2: VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT (Jessica P.):

(She ‘jokingly’ stated that her Husband (a former LVJBS V.P.) can be known as the ‘Goodman’s of the LVJBS!) ;)
- Item 3: TREASURER’S REPORT (Paige):
- · 2025 DUES info/renewal reminders went out in late December.
- $10/mo. OR $100/mo. (if paid in full by March 4 meeting.) OR $150/couple (with the same address, if PIF by March’s meeting.) (Anyone who attends 1, 2, 3, or 4 meetings in 2024, can have a $5-$20 discount off of their dues.)
- o Sent out invoices with adjusted dues for officers today.
- · Blank business cards with our logo & website – plans to order next week. What content should go on the back?
- · Banner – planning to order a new one next week. What content to include?
- · Logo – will consider changes in the future
SECRETARY’S REPORT (Angela):
- A. Jessica G. sent agenda to help with minutes.

PRODUCTION REPORT(Greg):
- · SPUNJ was booked by Nathan Grates (SandDollar LV) for: 05/24
- · HOMECOOKIN’ was booked by Nathan Grates for the LVJBS Quarter 1 SandDollar Collaboration for Friday, March 14th (3.14 = Pie Day—maybe an LVJBS pizza pie special & some sweeter, dessert pies for sale/give aways!?)
- o Greg has been in contact with Nate and Jordan for 3 weeks to facilitate the booking. Payment was not discussed.
- · All You Can Eat Orchestra – needs contact info for future booking in August, September
- · Jeff from Shaky Feelin’ – they are playing Grateful Festival in Flagstaff (May23-25-Memorial Day Weekend), interested in Vegas gig before or after
- o We discussed Bonfire or SandDollar as possible venues. Sunday evening (05/25) at SandDollar, after Saturday SPUNJ event. (Would be Q2 collaboration event if so!)
- § Greg will connect with The Bonfire and Nathan at SandDollar.

*Next Adopt-A-Highway clean-up date thought: Sunday, Jan. 19, 9 AM (Jessica G. to create an LVJBS event!)
* Feb 21 – Liani’s birthday celebration. The event will be at The Bonfire.
* Greg suggested looking into – “The Side Yard” – a possible event space
