This year’s Grateful Dead Meet-Up At The Movies will feature screenings of the band’s June 17, 1991 concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Meet-Up At The Movies will bring fans together at theaters around the world on August 1, 2019. Tickets for the ninth annual Meet-Up At The Movies are available at the 2 theaters, or online! For the band’s stellar Summer Tour 1991 the lineup of guitarists Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir, keyboardist Vince Welnick, drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart and bassist Phil Lesh was joined by acclaimed pianist Bruce Hornsby. This year marks the first time Bruce and Vince will be featured in the show screened at Meet-Up At The Movies. Highlights from the night, for which a few aired on ABC’s In Concert live music series, include an extremely rare “Eyes Of The World” opener, the first “Dark Star” jam since 1974, a beautiful “China Doll” and intense “Cassidy.”
